Monsters U: Catch Archie is a platform game where you will control Mike, the charismatic protagonist of Monsters Inc., who needs to capture the scare pig Archie, who will try his hardest to give you the slip along a series of different levels.

The game controls are similar to titles like Temple Run. Swipe your finger upward to make Mike jump, and downward to make him roll on the ground. Swiping to one side or the other will move his position to the left or right for a few seconds.

The fundamental difference between this game and Temple Run is that Monsters U: Catch Archie is not an 'endless runner'. The objective of each of the ten levels in the game is to find and grab Archie. Once you've done that, you need to try and tame him before he throws you off.
